Ace Your Virtual or Phone Interview

I’ll guide you through the strategies unique to virtual and phone interviews so that you get a face-to-face interview with a hiring manager or team of potential colleagues.

Bring Your Best Self to the Face-to-Face Interview

Together, we will discuss your interview style, the questions that trip you up, and how to turn your weaknesses into strengths. I will apply my background in counseling to help you with everything from body posture, facial expressions, and tone of voice, to crafting solid answers to these most common questions:

• Why are you interested in this position?
• Tell me about yourself.
• Where do you expect to be in three years?
• Describe a time you were part of a team and your role as a team member.
• Describe a conflict you had on a job and how you resolved it.
• What have been your most important accomplishments?
• What are your strengths? Give an example of your strengths in action.
• What are your weaknesses?
• Why should we hire you?

And of course we will practice, Practice, PRACTICE a mock interview in a safe and supportive environment until you are happy with your performance.

My Interview Clients

I work with entry- and mid-level career professionals. If you are at a senior- or executive level, you will want to work with Janet Brumbaugh. She will video tape your practice interviews and give you in-depth feedback to ensure maximum impact during your actual interview.

Rates

My rates are $88.00 per hour. To get the full benefit of interview coaching, plan on a minimum of two sessions.
