Career outplacement packages
We’ll work with you to provide the right outplacement support for your departing employees, depending on their level of experience and desire to stay in a similar job role or make a pivot to a new career.
Our professional package is customized to the employee’s needs, but always includes:
- Review of skills, experiences, and job preferences (1 hour)
- Job role, title, and keyword discovery, and finding the right job listings (1-2 hours)
- Experience and skills gap analysis (1-2 hours)
- Tailoring up to two resumes and cover letters to land interviews (6-8 hours)
- Interview coaching (2 hours)
- Networking support, including LinkedIn guidance (1-2 hours)
- Negotiating the compensation you deserve when you get an offer
In our sessions, we will determine the range of job titles that match the employee’s expertise. We will then analyze what skills or experience are needed to compete for desired roles. We complete the package with tailored resumes, cover letters, interview practice, and networking support so that your departing employees will move confidently through their job search and into new roles.

Why your company should provide outplacement services
There are several benefits to providing career outplacement services to your departing employees through company severance packages:
- Building a positive reputation as a good place to work. This can attract top talent and make it easier to recruit new employees in the future.
- Improving employee morale. When employees feel supported by their company during a difficult time, it can improve retention, morale, and productivity. This is also crucially important in times of restructuring or downsizing.
- Reducing transition time and unemployment costs. Career outplacement services can help departing employees find new jobs more quickly by providing them with the resources and support they need to launch a successful job search. This can save your company money in the long run, by reducing the time that employees are out of work.
- Reducing the risk of lawsuits: When employees are laid off or terminated without any support, they may feel angry and resentful. This can lead to a bad reputation, or even lawsuits against the company. Providing career outplacement services can help to reduce these risks by demonstrating the company’s commitment to helping employees find new jobs.
