For this list, we included only well-paid skilled trade occupations, which we defined as paying at least $60,000 average within the first two years of employment. We also focused on trades that are showing a bright growth outlook over the next decade. None of the trades in the post require a 4-year college degree or higher education, but many require a high school diploma or GED, two years of college or an Associate’s degree.
