Drawing from his military and emergency service backgrounds, Krute has a proven ability to connect with diverse individuals, from those facing crises to those seeking personal growth.
Krute has a degree in Forensic Psychology and utilizes a holistic approach that ensures caring, individualized support throughout every stage of the career development process.
Janet works with her clients to discover a competitive edge, all with fun and ease.
She has been an executive recruiter for management and executive-level professionals for over 25 years. In addition, Janet has 7 years as a career consultant focusing on job search at the senior and executive levels.
Her approach is tailored to meet client needs with a structured workflow and accountability. She uncovers blind spots and customizes specific interview strategies.
Janet has a BA from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Education from the University of Connecticut with an emphasis in educational psychology.
Joanie’s love of writing combined with experience in sales and recruitment now helps her write persuasive resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. She brings twenty years of experience as the regional retail manager for Footwise, in charge of operations, recruitment, training, and supervision.
With patience and persistence, Joanie coaches clients to uncover the unique qualities and skills that need to be clearly communicated in their resume. She takes the time to help clients remember the little and big successes that made a difference in their past positions.

Dan is the owner of A Portland Career, where he draws on his past experience building several successful businesses.
He has coached many clients through various challenging career, leadership, and business decisions. Dan uses a systematic approach to job search that identifies each client’s unique strengths and matches them to job roles. He helps clients get unstuck and develop strategies to blaze a realistic and profitable path forward.
He has a B.S. in Financial Management from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Portland State University.
Dan has also completed a Certificate in Job Search Coaching by Vicki Lind, MS.
Vicki has been a career counselor and job search coach in Portland for 25 years. She has taught workshops and trained career professionals on resumes, LinkedIn, interviewing, and locating positions.
As a veteran Portlander, Vicki brings a rich network and understanding of the local employment scene to her clients. With her training as a therapist, Vicki helps people overcome obstacles to carrying out a robust, persistent, and successful job search.
Vicki has a Masters in Education from PSU and a Masters in Counseling from U of O. In addition, she has a certificate in Human Resource Management from Linfield College.

Dana provides a blend of career transition and psychotherapy. She brings with her a background in helping people through life changing events, with many years of experience working with oncology patients and their families.
